My baby is 2 months old and i am just wondering if anyone else out there who did not breastfeed have very irregular cycles for awhile? I've had 4 cycles in a matter of 4.5 weeks, they aren't heavy or anything, i would actually say they are lighter than my normal cycle. Anyone else like that?

It is just your hormones trying to regulate themselves. When you go back to your OB, if you have not already, mention it to her. I wore a pad for 4 months after having my baby becasue I never knew when I was going to bleed.

Ok so when i had my 6 week appointment my doctor gave me 2 samples of birth control to try and if i liked it to phone him later and he would give me a perscription, so i though i would take it to see if it straighten my cycles out...so i started taking it about a week and a half ago and it seemed to work and then on the 5th of this month i started again while on the pill...not sure how that works...this time tho it was longer in between than they were...so not sure what i should do...its more just a pain in the neck...i hope it doesn't take to long to get back to normal. Also did anyone else who had a natural birth with or without an episiotemy have a hard time getting back to being intimate with your partner??? I find it hurts alot...i had an episiotemy. My doc said that i would be like a brand new woman but i never imagined that it would hurt.

I didn't breastfeed after my son or my daughter...but I noticed after my daughter I had vaginal discharge for almost three months...it wasn't a cycle just a discharge...My doctors couldn't tell if it was a reaction to the blood thinners that I had been on throughout my pregnancy....I t din't cause me any complications and the discharge eventually stopped. Have you mentioned it to your doctor?

After my first baby, I was like that for 3 months. I went to the docs in the end cos I got really heavy periods with only a few days in between each and he gave me iron tablets, eventually it settled back down. I had my third baby over a year ago and I am still irregular. Your body is probably still all over the place, I would give it a few weeks and then see your doc.

i had exactly the same problem, dont worry bout it, it's just your body sorting itself out, i went on the pill 21 days after he was born(cos i didnt breastfeed it didnt matter) and that sorted it out after a few weeks. just make sure you dont become anaemic or anything!!! xxxx

you might have to get some kind of birth control. and if you are on one you might have to change what you use. that is what happened to me. i used the depo shot and then he gave me the pill for three months. the pill straightend it out and i went back to the depo shot and all was good.
