My son has started a new thing: he bulldozes. He gets down in the crawl position and pushes his forehead into the ground. He had an ear infection for a little while, going through two seperate bouts of antibiotics, but I am not sure if that has anything to do with that.

Has anyone else witnessed this? It is funny, but I am not sure if I should stop him or just let him be.

Kori: No crying or real fussing. I may end up taking him to the doc just to make sure his most current ear infection has infact cleared up and then bring up this behavior.

Polly: He is laughing and looking at us... He does have a tendency to do it while we play "Hide and Seek" or "I'm Gunna Getcha!" I am hoping that's all it is - just some good ol' fun!

Thanks a lot ladies!

My boy does this sometimes too but he always makes sure we are watching and smiles like he's showing off so maybe your lil guy is just a jokester?

is he crying or fussing when he "bulldozes"? my son has had numerous ear infections and when he had one he would roll on the floor and push his ears to the ground and put his fingers in his ears, but he would be crying or whiny when he did it. If your son isn't crying, fussing,or seem like he's irritated then he's probably just playing. Kids are funny that way :) they just make up there own little things lol. hope this helps
