Hi tegan here are a few party ideas; im not sure if they would be helpful enough-

Feed the Lion- I took a large box, about the size of half of a refrigerator box and free handed a lion on it. Then I painted it in and gave it a little detail. I made a huge mouth and cut it out. The kids tossed bean bags (or tried to) into the mouth and got points for each one they made in.

Pin the tail on the Giraffes - You could use any animal of your choosing for this. Just draw 2 large animals and play "pin the tail" on with string or make your tails out of felt. Play as you would with "Pin the Tail on the Donkey".

Bowling for Monkeys - Set some pins up (make them using empty 2 liter plastic soda bottles.) Make as many "monkeys" as you have pins. You could just use a coloring sheet of a monkey and copy enough and color them with markers. Glue or tape them around the front of the bottles. Don't forget to have a ball to bowel with. A kids small playground ball works well.

Follow the Leader - For smaller kids this is a lot of fun. Play "follow the leader" and go through all types of animal motions and sounds. The little ones will enjoy getting into the spirit of things. This also help them use up all that energy!

Animal Relay Races - Have relay races using things like "acting like a bear growling and raising arms", "hop like a kangaroo", "laugh like a hyena", "slither like a snake", "swim like a fish", etc.

Hope your son has brilliant party!! X
