My baby is 16months and still takes a bottle at bedtime. She will not drink milk out of a cup.

does she use a sippy cup? My daughter is 12 months and I started using sippy cups in place of bottles. They Born Free ones are similar to bottles and she drinks them the same way. good luck!

my daughter was hard to get into the whole sippy cup thing. the nubby brand has bottle shaped cups that have the soft nipple in the middle and then soft sippy cup ones you can get them at walmart they run about $1-2 and the wash up good.

I started my daughter on sippys at a year. The way I did that was threw out ALL the bottles. She didn't have a choice, and she adapted VERY quickly. I also stopped using the bedtime bottle around a year as well. If you move it up to dinner your child will probably accept it better because it is for thirst...not comfort. Also, you can get soft top sippy cups at Walmart or Target for cheap. We bought a lot of cups to try different ones out.

Good Luck!

I used a sippy with a soft silicone nipple that was still shaped like a sippy and refused to give her a bottle. She threw a good fit but gave in once she was thirsty enough. Though I took her bottle away at 9 months so she may not have been as attached to it.
