I hear that it's hard to lose the stomach after a c-section. What are some of the best exercises to get that lower belly gone?!?!

What a question... I've been walking I had a c-secion in 2005 I got pregnant very soon after and my scar was streching and had to terminate the pregnancy I now have a baby born in Aug 2008 and I've been walking mostly I think it's helping a lot I leave the kids with daddy every night for about an hour and put my I POD on and walk everywhere anywhere and it's great not only for my belly but it helping me be a better momma too I feel like I can handle anything stressful - I am stay at home mom and a year ago I bought a Zoo pass (all the time we can go) it's great to get out during the day also and take the kids to the zoo and you get lots of walking in and stop at the park and play with the kids on the playground it's ok if you look crazy your kids think it fun and that is all that matters in the end! Good luck..

i've been doing pilates which they say is great as it works the deep core muscles. apparently after a c-section you can get an overhang or shelf over the scar so you need to work those deep muscles to hold it all in. you can also cut out carbs and lose fat quickly but its up to you if you wanna do that cos some people believe it to be dangerous.

swimming is really good for your core and so are the excercises rachael said, also boxing, jump rope (but the depends on your bladder too lol), balance like pilates or yoga and belly dancing.

my daughter is 5 months and i'm back to my pre birth weight but my stomach is still a major issue. best solution i found so far...... a pair of spanks and a smile!

I use my daughter. I lay on my back and lay her on the top of my calfs with my legs bent and lift her up and down and in circles. She giggles the whole time. I do both legs and each leg separetly. I also lift her with my arms and toss her up which she loves. I've lost all of my pregnancy weight and then some. We walk a lot and I modified my diet also. I can't afford the extra expense of a gym membership so I had to find other ways.
