i had no room in my stomache left for food because it was all baby... just try to eat really well when u do eat... think power foods. blueberries, whole grains, almonds, spinach, bell peppers, broccoli, tomatoes, strawberries, grapes, eggs. these foods provide the best bang for your (baby) buck nutrient wise.

I went through that too at about the same time. It's normal, there's just no room for baby. I would suggest eating snacks throughout the day. I was always grabbing apples from the bowl on the counter. Eat small snacks throughout the day and small meals.

That would be because you have little room left in your tummy as baby gets bigger. As long as what you eat is healthy the baby will be okay and you need to keep your fluid intake up. I know thats hard because you probably have to pee every ten minutes at this point. The same thing happened to me almost my entire pregnancy. My doctor told me just to eat tiny meals throughout the day and just make sure what I was eating had nutritious value for my and the baby's health. I ended up having a perfectly healthy 8 lb 14.7 ounce baby boy in February!

You aren't starving your baby. Your body will put the baby first. Try to snack if it makes you feel better, but the baby will be fine!

I also vote for what all the other moms said with small things to eat throughout the day and what not. People think you're eating for two and that you can eat a whole bunch but holy moly it's not true I remember the end of my pregnancy I couldn't even eat a whole apple without feeling stuffed. Little things and on the plus side it's almost over :D Good Luck

I had hyperemesis my whole pregnancy and wasn't able to keep food down for most of the 40 weeks, I lost a huge amount of weight and needed IV therapy numerous times.I always worried that I was starving my baby and felt guilty about it. I couldnt even keep down multivitamins or folic acid. I was reassured by dr's, nurses and midwives that the baby would take all he needed from me nutrient wise and he would be fine. I had a healthy 8lb baby boy and there certainly wasn't any need for me to worry!

I agree with everyone else...losing your appetite is normal. Eat small meals/snacks all day to keep up your energy. Healthy snacks as much as possible & everything will be fine :-)

I agree with the rest of the mom's. The baby is just taking up so much space that it is hard to cram much. Another thing is that the baby feeds off of you and as long as you are eating something throughout your day and taking your prenatal pills all is it is Happy Waiting!! Congrats!!

I'm having the same problem...Im 33 weeks and nothing ever sounds good. I've made a habit of eating fruit, granola bars, and keep small snacks around...eating light has helped my doctor told me to keep as much fluid down while I was feeling yuck/ (no apetite) Hope this helps.

I agree it's all baby in there. Just eat as many small meals a day as you can, a little bit at a time, as long as your eating something it's better than nothing. make sure you eat things that can gvive you energy. I would get the shakes and had to eat things like cheese, orange juice, peanut butter, things like that.

just eat small amounts of food all through the day that way you never feel too full.
