my eldest got his 1st a week before his first birthday, my middle got hers at 10 months my 3rd at 6 months. With my eldest he's now nearly 7 and he has just lost his first tooth so they get them later they stay in longer and theyre stronger.

My daughter didn't get her first one until she was 8.5 months old & her second didn't come until she was 10 months & she hasn't gotten any new ones since. Some babies turn one & still don't have their first tooth yet. It's normal. I wouldn't worry. I know it's tough watching babies teeth =[ We're dealing with that one - kennady is trying to get her 6 top teeth at once - yikes! The average age for first teeth is right around 7 months, so hopefully they will come in soon so he gets a little relief =]

Yeah, my son started teething at 3 months, got his first tooth at 9 months, he's almost 11 months, and just getting his second. Met an 8 month old at the doctors office who had 6 already! It's just different for each child.

Yes it's completely fine, in fact the longer the teeth take to cut, the stronger and better they are, time to start worrying is about 12-15 months, but anything past that I'd go to the doctor or even dentist i'd say. good luck

Hello, the longer it takes for teeth to cut the better the teeth are, but start to worry if its 12-15 months and they still have no teeth.

totally! My son got his first one right at 8 months and then the 2nd one a week later. He turned 1 on January 31 and now has 12 teeth. He has gotten 10 in 3 months! Its weird because he was an early bloomer in everything but had no teeth!

My daughter didnt her first tooth until she was 1. And didnt have a full mouth until after she was 2. My dentist said not to worry about it, acutally the longer the take to come in the better, they have more time to develop and mature

yeh, my little man's came thru the day before he was 9months old! kids do things and get things at different times, no child is the same.

its completly normal my son was 13months when he finially got one tooth and know he is 17m and all his teeth have come in. his doctor keept telling me there is nothing to worry about the longer they stay in the better they well be. They well be stronger and have less cavities as he grows. i know exactly how you feel i was like that to i was so worried about my son. but the doc said if they get no teeth by the time they r going to turne 2 thats when u really worry. so don't worry just give him some time and give him some things he can chew on.

yes!! my twins didn't get their first tooth until they were almost 10 months old! its different for everychild. Their doctor told me as long as they have teeth by the time they are 15 months old not to worry. i think they cut teeth around the same time their parents did but who knows! i wouldn't worry at all!
