I have 3 kids, ages 8, 6 and 3. I had my youngest when I was 22 and had my tubes tied when she was 5 weeks old because my husband and I decided we were happy with our three. When my youngest was 6 months old, we split up and now I am engaged to a wonderful man, who loves me and my kids as if they were his own. He knew upon getting together that I couldn't have anymore and is happy with that because he doesn't want children of his own, especially since he has taken on the responsibility of my three (physically, emotionally and financially). Here is the problem...that I don't even know is truly a problem. Lately I have found myself weepy over not being able to have a baby. My fiancee' s sister just had a baby today and I find myself jealous and envious. Is this normal?

I am going through something simalar. I just had a baby 11 weeks ago and my husband just get tied 2 weeks ago. I want another child so badly but he doesn't. I get real sad sometimes thinking that this will be my last child. I told him I would like 4 but he is dead against it. (it wouldnt matter if 1 more came becuas eI would be doing everything anyways) hes always at work. My daughter would also like another baby shes wants a gurl this time. I think it normal. I hope I can get passed it. good luck

Believe it or not these days having your tubes tied does not mean that you can not have children. Most of the time, it is reversible, but not always and from what I hear it is a bit painful. I would ask your doctor about it. Also, if you really decide you do want more children and they cannot reverse it, there is always the option of harvesting your eggs and having them fertilized and inserted back into the uterus, but that becomes expensive. You should discuss your thoughts with you fiancee because what you are feeling is absolutely normal.
