my daughter is almost completely pottytrained but for some reason she still poops her pants. any suggestions?

Not there yet myself, but a lady I used to sit for did. She solved it in one day by not letting her 3 yr old wear diapers or underwear that day. He would only go to the bathroom if he was dressed, though. Worked for him.

A friend of mine had the same problem with her son. It turns out he was more attached to his poop than his pee because he could see it. He didn't want it to disappear down the toilet...it was scary for him. She made up a story about where the poop went and how much fun he would have with other poops, and now he's fine.

I've heard that some children are almost ashamed to poop so they won't go in the toliet. I had a friend who's daughter would pee no problem in the potty, but to poop she would hide in the closet because she was so ashamed to make a mess. I would try and see if there is something about pooping that she is ashamed or feels weird about. Good Luck! :-)

id try bribing her give her a small sheet of stickers or anything cheap n small if she tells you everytime she needs poos .i just told my girls it was yucky to poo in your pants cause it makes your bum sore and gave them a few stickers now they poo in the toilet every time
