If it looks kinda like formula chunks then its probably thrush, if not like formula then it may be the beginning of kanker sores or fever blisters from teething. you should take her to the pediatrician to be sure.

its not thrush. its not on her tongue its on the inside of her lip. doc said it could be a virus and that i should put some baby orajel if it seems to bother her but still am a little worried, makes me feel like crap.

Hands, foot and mouth disease. If she has little bumps they come off like that sometimes. and you don't have on all of them sometimes it just appears on just the lips or the hands and so forth, there are different variations to it. It just has to run it's course if that is what it is. Make sure you clean anything that your baby puts in their mouth and was your hands after you touch her. Adults get it worse!

When my little boy had thrush is covered his whole mouth. His lips, cheeks, gums. so it could be stomach sores that are cause by teething

I would watch it very closely. If it spreads or she shows any other symptoms I would go back to the doc. Don't let the doc dismiss you. I have never heard of what you are describing and I worked in infant daycares for years. Try not to stress though, your baby will react to that. Good luck!

Thrush is usually a white coating on the tongue, but it could be that. I would see the doc just to be on the safe side.

Sound like Thrush to me. Also lots of children get it caused by putting things in there mouth. The doc will give a antibiodic for this or paint there mouth with a purple medicine. That purple stuff stains everything if the child spits up. I hope this is helpful.
