Wondering if any of you nurse mommies can give any tips or advice for landing your first nursing job. I just graduated, have put out a ton of apps with only 1 interview and no call back yet. Any advice? Thanks

Are you a RN or LVN? If you are a RN, I have no ideas.
LVN, try your local Nursing homes/Rehab facilities. Almost all of the Nursing Homes in my area also have a rehab wing for patients just getting out of the hospital. Most of those places will have paper applications instead of ones you do online.
Also, apply for PRN positions. Sometimes a company will hire you for PRN if they aren't looking for full time, and once you get into the door, you can secure a full time position once it becomes available.
Are you picky on your hours? I don't know any nurse who managed to land a day time shift job when they first started out. Most day shift positions are given to employees already in the company who have invested into the company already.
