I think most LPN to ADN/BSN you are going to be required to go through a college that you are required to do clinicals. Most of the online courses are for ADN to BSN/MSN. Hope that help.

I an currently a Lpn with my AA degree. I am interested in completed my BS of nursing, or RN. Now sure which would be best and I am a single mom with three girls so I need something that will work for us. All of the online programs that I have looked into only have programs for RN to BSN etc Does anyone know of a program for LPN to BSN or other suggestions for me?
Thank you!

Joan, I would like to talk to you about the classes you've taken at South. I'm scheduled for the English class starting next week. Would love to hear your thoughts about it.

I too am doing my BSN through South University. I originally was going to go through Walden for the RN to MSN program, but found out that if for any reason I wanted to transfer, or stop before getting my MSN, they do not award you with a BSN. Last fall, I had stopped taking classes with South and I was going to transfer to Regis University in Colorado through The College Network. The classes at Regis are cheaper and you can do all your Gen-Eds through challenge exams which The College Network provides you with all the study information. I'm not disciplined enough to do that on my own. I'm started back at South University on the 14th of this month.

I have been working on my RN to BSN through Indiana Wesleyan University Online. It is so awesome! Classes are 5 weeks long and intense, but it is much easier to do homework online at 2 am then driving to a school to go to class (finding a babysitter, etc). I really enjoy the christian basis. http://www.indwes.edu

I have been taking classes since Feb of 2007, I started out doing one class at a time and then in January went up to two because I wanted to get it done with. There really isn't much that I don't like maybe just the choices for the general electives but everything else is great.

Hi, I am currently doing my BSN online through South University. It is a nice program and I have been able to do it working full time and as a mother of 3 kids. Most classes are 5 1/2 weeks and they are four credits. If you have specific questions feel free to ask me. They also have an online Masters program.  You can look at the program using this link http://online.southuniversity.edu/academ...
