what to buy as a christening gift for a terminally ill baby... please help

hi.
my partner is becoming a godfather to a gorgeous little 4week old baby boy, but he is getting christened in the hospital capel as he is termanlly ill he has not long left and will never leave hospital. please if anyone has any idea of gifts to get him comment as i really dont know what to suggest to my partner. he deserves a christening gift just like any othe baby and im aware its prob more for the parents thanm baby i just need a few ideas thankyou xxxxxxx

A picture frame. I wish someone had given me one. Even if they never display it, they can be comforted by it because they will never forget what his little hands looked like or the way he looked while they held him (more for the parents). Maybe a little tiny teddy bear, ever so soft.

I got a beautiful teddy bear for friends who had to terminate a pregnancy, i thought they could choose either to keep it or send it with their precious boy. So sad :(

for my daughter ,they got handprints and bronzed them then put her name , date and weight on it :) its on my wall and in a way I get to see her EVERY day!

I would go with something that the parents could use to remember their precious child. Do they have a plaster casting of his hands and feet? You could name a star for him. Or there is a lot of rememberance jewlery out there. Good luck, I'm sure this situation can't be easy.
