Does anyone have some great ideas for train cakes? My daughter loves trains and I am making her one for her 2nd birthday, thought if anyone had some pictures of some cute ones I could look at that would be great!

when i was asked to do a friend's son's Thomas the tank engine cake i brought the WILTON's train mould. I re shaped it a lil and decroated vertually the same as Thomas, i was so proud of myself as i have never done a 3 rd cake before. Hope that helps

I want to do a train cake for my son's 3rd b-day and I actually found a cute train pic as I was looking through online invites. I am going to cut/decorate a train and make cupcakes animals to go on the train. I found this book that is all about cupcakes, it is so cute! It is called "CUPCAKES!"

im doing an animal cake for my sons first, and the best tool i used was google images!! just type in train cakes and heaps will come up! good luck!!

hope this isn't to late .. go check out cakecentral.com they have some great pictures , and you can even upload your pictures ... they have a ton of trains ....
