Since the book is more detailed I find it better. But I realized the movies flip it around and add things that never even happened in the book. That kind of upset me about it. But I still can't wait for new moon the movie to come out. =]

Books are always tons better than movies. Movies have to be conformed to what society as a whole wants, like the fight scenes in the New Moon movie that never happened in the book? yeah whatever, the book totally own!!! :)

When my husband and I watched Twilight I kept having to do a running commentary from all the stuff they left out, it was rediculous! I understand that the book was huge and it would have been crazy to include everything, but it just felt like they left out key elements of the story that I was real glad I waited for it to come out on DVD because it was disappointing. New Moon was a better movie but it was the same thing...left out too much detail and the movies don't compare to the inner movie in my head from reading the book!!! Its always disappointing when you invision something and then see it played out worse then your version :(

I agree with you. I have read Twilight and then I watched the movie. I noticed that there were things in the book that were not in the movie and there were also things in the movie that werent in the book. The books always make me feel like I am in the story myself. They are more detailed and I can picture everything the way I think it would happen. :)

definately, i saw it last night. it was great! i am not too enthused about the soundtrack, the first sound track was awesome..the music perfectly fit the movie, actually added to the "feeling"

i feel that the movies have left so much out
i had a friend watch the movie then read the boooks
but she started with new moon and refused to start with twilight cuz she thought i would just be a play by play of the movie but
was all sorts of confused because they left so much out in the movie and explained things so diffrent , dont get me wrong i like the movie
but i was very dissapointed with it

definately like the books more.... i actually saw the movie, and thought i gotta read the books, books are always better! but i still enjoy the movie...can't wait for new moon!

I started reading the books over the summer. I had no intention of doing so. I happened to pick up the third book at a friends house not realizing it what it was. I only read the first 10 pages before I was hooked. Immediately I stopped reading the third book and my friend lent me the first. Since then I have read them all at least once, some three or four times. I was excited to watch the movie and borrowed it from my niece. Unfortunately I didn't find it interesting and have yet to finish the movie. I'm going to try again before the next movie. So my opinion is, the books are much, much better.

I love the books. The movie is good, but so far the books have been better. Hopefully New Moon will be a better movie than Twilight. But I love it all anyways..lol.

I totally love the books better.. they didn't get it right in the movies and the sad thing is stephanie was there herself! I hated the way they didn't use any of their talks and what was up with running up the tree? I just didn't like the way the house looked either..but the characters were a good match!

The books for me are way better. Hopefully New Moon will be better. There is so much more detail in the books. I watched Twilight before I read it, and didn't realize from the movie how much Edward really liked Bella until I read the book.

They wrote things in the teleplay in New Moon also, but he stayed with the key elements of the book, same with Eclipse. I think New Moon is going to be much much better, and Eclipse is going to be great. Breaking Dawn is MIA right now..

Im just getting done reading the last one.. but I saw the movie first.. I love them both.. and cant get enough of it.. lol
