10 things a man should never say to his wife

"Are you gonna wear Spanx with that?" While honesty is generally the best policy, your wife does not want to know that you know she wears a body shaper. Find some other way to delicately point out the pudge.
"Okay, I'll babysit." How many times do we have to tell you, it's not babysitting if they are your own kids.
"Whoever makes more money should do less housework." Who are you, Don Draper? The Mad Men era ended, like, 50 years ago so grab a broom.
"Don't worry, it'll grow back." After a bad haircut, those are the least soothing words you can say. Just come up with something you like about the new look.
"Why don't you ever wear stuff like that?" For most moms, the days of daisy dukes and mini skirts are long gone. Comparing us to the rare mommy who still has the nerve to slip on skimpy outfits will only get you in trouble.
"But I changed a diaper this morning." Yeah, and guess how many times your darling daughter has peed since then. Your turn!
"Really, how much harder would another kid be?" Of course the person who does the least amount of cooking, cleaning, and nurturing would think adding to the brood was no big deal. Let's see if you feel that way after playing Mr. Mom for week.
"You've turned into your mother." It's a reality no woman is ever ready or willing to face, whether it's true or not.
"Wow, your best friend looks EXACTLY the same as she did in high school!" Implicit in that is your wife doesn't. It's better for you to gawk in secret.
"I can't find my..." Let's get real. You can't find it because you didn't look that hard.
LOL, the last one is the best!

That's a very unusual name! I've never heard that name before. Boy or girl? Sorry sounds like it's gender neutral.

yup. I'm very lucky. the bigest issue we are having is deciding on a name but we came to an agreement on that. i get to pick out a new first name. (Marius is going to be the middle name.its the name we originally agreed on but people like my mom and some of his co-workers didn't care for.)

lol dh would never say any of those things to me. he does almost all the cooking and cleaning (he hates my cooking and would redo my cleaning so i just stopped bothering with the exception of tidying up a bit and bringing dishes/garbage into the kitchen while dh is at work.
right now hes out at his friends place with ds (its his friends daughters birthday). I didn't go because its too hot outside and i didn't have the energy to walk 15 minutes in the heat. (him and ds walk faster. i'm just slow and extra sensitive to the heat because i'm having our 2nd son in less than 2 weeks.)
We both decided this is our last kid so when i have the baby I'm also getting my tubes tied. he doesn't want to work more hours to afford another kid. and hes very involved with our son when hes home after work and on the weekends. (hes actually going to take parental leave for a few months to take care of me and our 2 sons while i recover from surgery and get into a routine with 2 kids). that includes changing all the diapers for the first couple of weeks. i actually ended up with an emergency c-section with our first son so he changed all the diapers for the first couple of weeks then too. (which means lucky me i didn't have to change any of those thick tar poops newborns have).
I don't wear body shapers. I would rather just buy clothes that fit right to begin with than invest in something tighter/smaller and then having to buy something to make it look decent.
most of my friends from high school are guys so i doubt he would be comparing me to my friends. And Dh helps me pick out clothes when i get myself something so if he didn't like it he wouldn't buy it lol. (with the exception of my maternity pants. i wanted to get jeans but they were too uncomfortable so he got me some stretchy pants instead.)

if my otherhalf winges about the clogg of hair in the shower, i threaten to shave it all off and he knows i would just to spite him, unfortunalty i hate it too also hate finding it in the clean n dried clothes, but as my hair is the longest it has ever been i wanna keep it that way but having an active job (tinting paint for a hardware store) and a toddler it is usually up in a bun or plat constitally
nappy changes arent an issue as hes happy to deal with them, but looking for stuff is just a pain in the bum especially when i tell him in great detail exactly where it is and he still cant find it!!

Lol! Too funny! I love long hair and so does my fiancé. But I just cut off 13 inches and donated it in feb. it was his idea haha. He loves not finding nests of hair in vacuum, broom, sink, drains etc. I miss a super tight pony tail.

Luckily he hates spandex as much as I do and I'm thankful I don't own n e lol.

I can find my.... He admits it's easier for me to get thn him since I apparently know where everything is haha.

TBH I chopped it off because I couldn't be bothered dying it, I'm dark blonde but I was dying it blue black at the time. When I had Mia I was dying it red, but it grew so fast my roots were down to my ears! Thought I was being smart, cutting it off, starting again..... It didn't bloody well grow back did it?! Devon is 4 this time and it's only just touching my bra strap :( Guess he has a thing for long hair and it didn't help that I hated it too...

Well when you are getting puked on constantly and dirty, the right and sensible thing to do is chop your hair. AND if it's something you want to do then it's none of his business. That sucks he made you feel self conscience for a year!

Ha! My husband has asked why I don't wear heels anymore, erm..... you try running after two kids in heels! And when I got pregnant with #2, I chopped my hair really short an his response was 'Nnnoooooooooo!' Made me really self concious about it for about a year while it grew out....
