Anybody know of any active absentee husband communities? My DH works 60 hours a week plus his commute is 1/2 hour each way but he isn't in the military or the oilfields or any of those typical molds. I'm totally willing to join one for "close to our situation" if they'll have me.

Don't get me wrong! You guys here are great but I could really use some more specific support on this issue sometimes, especially lately. Thanks! :)

FYI He's not abusive or anything bad like that. Just not here. Gotta stop typing this now before I cry. Any advice would be great ladies! Thanks again!

My husband leaves at 5 and gets back at 630 5 days a week. I understand I get peeved when people complain that hubby didn't get home until 4pm and had to start work at 7 ohhh dear

I completely understand how you feel. My husband drives a semi. It is locally and he is home every night, just not very much. He usually leaves about 3:30am every morning, and sometimes he gets home at 3, sometimes 6, and even a couple times 8pm. Plus, occasionally he works Sat. If his loads brings him close to our home, he is allowed to bring his truck home, but if not, he has to park it at the garage that is about 1/2 hr away. He tries to go to bed at 7:30pm everynight, so for the most part, it's me and our 4 kids. If you have any questions, or just need some support, send me a message.
