My little girl was crying so I thought she was hurt. Turns out SHE elbowed her older brother in the stomach and SHE was crying. Girls. sigh.

Isn't that messed up? I mean to sit there and actually cook a steak for your dog? The thing died because it was so fat. My mom and aunt had to put it in the trunk of the car to take it to the humane society.

my doggy"nepew" has an orthpedic bed, all kinds of special food, and was on IV nutrition his last days. He had a condition that needed medication about 6 times a day the last 2 yrs. My brother leaves work to give him his pills. Sadly he had to be put down last week. he was a lucky dog, because I would not have done all taht

I spent more time preparing the dogs food tonight, as I realized I was out of dog food. The kids got canned soup and grilled cheese. The dog got rice, left over chicken, some chicken vienna sausage, a bit of beggin strips and gravy. She's luck I love her

I like to write too, I started writing a children's book but haven't had the time to go back to it. It was very good, I totally surprised myself with it.

Yep the families gotta eat so I try to spice it up a little, we usually get the same food week after week, I get so bored with it! But we're only on one wage (his) and he's paying rent and a mortgage atm as we broke our lease early to buy our house so he's not too keen to go outside what we get food shopping now as he worries "different" means "more expensive". So once he's not paying rent as well, I'm totally going to spice it up!

I think you are right my friend who is Indian told me the exact same thing. I am the same I love to cook and have so since I was very young. It is where I let my creative spirit go. I can 't draw and although I like to write I have little time to do so... But cooking always have the time cuz i need to do so for my family but it is alway appreciated to!

Thai is amazing! when I was preggers we had to go to this place that does an amazing Vietnamese Beef Noodle soup (ok not quite Thai but close lol) once a week, My daughter loved it, she'd kick like made after I'd eaten it. Actually after anything yummy like Thai or Vietnamese. I totally craved those foods while preggers yum yum yum!

Cooking is how I get to be creative, I can't draw worth a damn so I let it out in my cooking. I don't think I can find the exact recipe for the Lemongrass Chicken, but I shall have a looksie for the Saag Chicken for you.

The trick with Indian cooking (it seems to me anyway), is to cook the spices first, e.g cook off Tumeric for a min until you start to smell it, then add ginger (repeat), then add corriander (repeat) etc etc.

Haha yep Sneaky Goodness it is with the kiddies!

Really! You got to send me the recipe. I am like you I read recipes but rare do I follow one. (Unless baking) but cooking I do on the fly. What is in my cupboards, fridge, and season, sale.... then put it together. Indian food always was a bit of a mystery for me as how to cook it and seemed complicated. I would love to give a go!
Stock is pretty easy to make btw!

Ha ha I like that "Sneaky Goodness!" I think I will steal that one form you! I have to do it because my little Claire wont touch a veggie to save her life! except a cucumber hmmmmm
