I had symphysis pubis dysfunction to a degree where I couldn't walk and was in a wheelchair for 3 months.

I also had gestational diabetes officially for about 2 days, but because my daughter was born very early right after I got that particular diagnosis, it didn't last very long!

child #1 - I ended up with a severe kidney infection, that shouldn't have been that bad, but the docs in my local ER wouldn't listen to me and kept telling me I had a stomach bug. Finally after the 3rd ER visit I had a doc listen to me. I ended up in the hosp for 3 days, then sent home on an antibiotic that I ended up being severely allergic to, and it also caused another kind of infection, and all the infections started me into premature labor. Thank goodness, they were able to finally get everything under controll, and my son was born only 3 weeks early and healthy. After labor though, the afterbirth didn't want to release, but I had a dickhead piece of crap doc that figured he would just scream at me and yank on the cord instead of surgically removing like what should have done because I ended up with a problem with child #2 because of it!

Child #2 - I had placenta previa (placenta laying over the cervix instead of up top of uterus). It moved up just in time for the birth, but I ended up losing a ton of extra blood because of it.

Child #3 - other than him being a 10# 3oz moose when born, no complications

child #4 - I had gestational diabetes.

With my first I had preeclampsia. I was on bedrest for a month and delivered at 38 weeks because he stopped growing.

With my second I presented 4 times to the hospital for severe abdominal pain. Ended up being diagnosed with gallstones. I was able to manage it with diet. Then at 36-38 weeks was on crutches because she had caused such severe sciatica I lost the sensation in both legs from mid-thigh down. I was eventually able to get her off with some positional exercises (bum in the air, on hands and knees for an hour a few times a day for about a week).

My issues where after delivery. During pregnancy I had high blood pressure with my daughter and then during labor I needed a blood transfusion, and then I hemorrhaged when she was a month old and needed another transfusion. With my son when he was a month old I ended up in the ICU because it turns I had ruptured my esophagus while pushing him out. Still amazes me, who gets a hole in their throat from child birth!?
