That is very gross I have before now gone to a public toilet and had to pee while holding my baby. Its really hard to do your jeans up with one hand lol but I managed it and I had to wash and dry one hand at a time. But I wouldnt even consider putting him on the floor even though it looked clean ewww.

OMG!!
I was in the mall washroom last week and a lady came in to the stall beside me with a boy about 8 months old SHE PUT HIM DOWN ON THE F'IN FLOOR!!!!! he even peeked under the middle wall and gave me a nice smile, it took everything in me not to say anything.

I will hold it until i get home usually there has been some cases i have had to use public restrooms but i put a ton of toilet paper on the seat and hold my purse! I hate public bathrooms the always smell funny!

I agree with that. The new Walmarts have these seats in the handicap stalls that fold down and you can buckle your child in while you go. They're kinda cool but the kid can't be to heavy.

The purse thing I can deal with... what I hate most is when you aren't allowed to take carts into the bathroom... I mean when I'm shopping with my 10 month old alone where am I supposed to put her when I have to use the bathroom?

When I have to go I usually really have to go. I have that thing Nikki does. I will piss myself. So I have to put my loads of TP on the seat and get on it.

Oh I never rest my bag on the toilet roll anymore I leant my lesson the hard way...I used to have to carry a touch screen computer (it swizeled into a laptop for typing) for work and used to rest it on the toilet roll while I peed, I never put stuff on the toilet floor ew gross. Anyway, one day I knocked the computer off and broke it completely, £3000 worth of computer broken just like that, the company tried to charge me £1000 for repairs but luckily my boss stood up for me and said I wasn't paying as it was an accident, they have insurance for it, oops.

If there is no hook it now goes on my lap or I hang it on the door lock, it works in the same way as a hook just lower down :-)

If the hooks are gone i do one of two things.

1. i put it on top of the toilet paper holder and balance it there.
or
2. put the strap from shoulder to hip so it rests on my side but out of the way or around to my backside.

I worry about putting it on the hook anyway after reading about a popular way to steal purses was for thieves to reach over the stall door and grab the strap from the hook and take off while women are otherwise occupied.

I HATE THAT!! My store I used to work at was going through a remodel and when it was done the bathrooms didn't have hooks, I complained like every other day until they finally go it done. I always try to keep it over my shoulder, I would rather have it on my lap than on the floor.
