I love everyone on com but I have best mates in real life who were there in the delivery room with me, have coffee with me whenever i like and babysit my kids for me when i need to go to the dentist. I don't really have that bond with anyone on here.

I have a lot of really good friends on here. I hate the term "best friend", but if I had to choose one, it would be my friend that spends every other weekend with us. She can't have kids, so she's not on CoM. I met her through my husband.

Almost all of the friends I have on here and facebook are people I actually know off the computer so, in answer to your question, yes I suppose I do have a best friend on here but I didn't meet her on here.

i enjoy sharing on here,and answering questions. but i dont have any strong bonds towards anyone,but im also a bit of a newbie,However if it wasnt for facebook i doubt id know half of what goes on with my real best friends so i guess to answer that question yes?lol

Although I should add.... when it comes to communicating w/ my 'real life' best friends.... I do more of it online and through text than I do face to face. lol
That's NOT how we STARTED our relationships though. ;)

I agree with Teresa. I don't have any best friends online simply because you don't really get to know a person through a computer. For me it has to be face to face.

Not on COM (don't be offended... I do love a lot/all of you), but on other message boards and not really 'best' friends (I only have 3 of those and they're all IRL people), but I have been posting w/ some of the same ladies for 6+ years and there has been a LOT shared. ♥
