Why or why not, if your married.

When I was married I did. No biggie to me, huge biggie to hubby. I just couldn't get past the fact that I had to say bye to life long friends! Wht should I?

Most of my friends are girls, as I got older, I found I get along with them better, whereas when I was younger, I got along with guys better and had mostly guy friends.

That said, one of my 4 very best friends in the world, is a man. He is twice my age though and there is not even a hint of anything romantic there--I think he's more of a stand-in father figure. In any case, I love him very much and I don't think hubs could ever make me give him up.

Hubby has some girl friends, but his in not close with them. I don't mind, but I do honestly have to say (and I know it's a double standard), I'm not sure I would be comfortable with him being as close to another woman as I am to my male best friend. I'm glad I haven't had to deal with it, because I'd probably have to get over it since I have Anderson, but I think it'd be difficult....not sure how hubby does it :P but I'm glad he does. He likes Anderson too.

My best friend is a guy I've known him since middle school im, arrived he's married its no big deal we have been friends thru ex spouses all the way to now it took both of our spouses a bit to accept it and there was some jealousy but its fine now, im going thru a custody battle with me ex and my hubby has to watch our 3spouses year old so he's like are you gonna call kirby to go with you? I don't want you alone up there lol and my friend has been there at every court date and every drop off and pick up to my ex sometimes with his wife and sometimes not, and tomorrow night his wife and I are having a girls night out .... now if my hubby had a friend that was a girl ... shed be bald lol double standard I know but that's how I roll!

That sucks a lot that your hubby thinks it such a big deal. Doesn't he have any female friends at all? My man isn't bothered our oldest closet friends are pretty much in the same circle. He has his own guy friends I really only friends with one guy friend of ours and him he's one of my best friends. He needs to trust you. Has he ever hung out with you in guy friends? I think my guy would way as your hubby if I actually stayed in contact with most of my guy friends.

I do...and so does hubby. All of my girl friends are his other wives and all of my guy friends are my "boyfriends". The same goes for all of his friends.

Yeah and I think ti does disturb Damo especially when I make new guy friends when I go out but he gets it that I get along with everyone and friendship shouldn't depend on them being the same sex as you.
