Apparently some members of this community (or visitors) seem to think that a vent is actually a question. This is not the case. Allow me to give you the definition of a "vent".
From Marriam-Webster:
c : to give often vigorous or emotional expression to
3 : to relieve by means of a vent

When some one posts a topic in this community it is NOT a question unless she says it is. So, what *is* a question? Glad you asked!
Also from Marriam-Webster:
b : a subject or aspect in dispute or open for discussion : issue; broadly : problem, matter

A question is a comment posted looking for an answer or a solution. Sometimes a woman just needs to VENT her frustrations and isn't looking for an answer to a QUESTION.

Get it? Got it? Good.

When I vent, I just want someone to pat me on the shoulder and say, "yes, I understand".

Wait wait wait...so a vent isn't another word for debate? I think you're wrong Kate. I'm going to write my own dictionary just to prove it. Because if some one gives me proof I'm going to ignore it and keep searching til I find someone to agree with me. ;)

But sometimes vents do have questions attached to them. For example: "Get it? Got it? Good." See, 2 questions. ;)
