I get distracted so easily anymore. It annoys the crap out of me! I used to have an incredible memory, but now... I've just realised that those sausages are STILL in the oven! I had taken them out to throw away and somehow I forgot (obviously put them back into the oven) and I've only been reminded they're still there by this post just now!!

We once brought a heap of meat put it in the chiller planning to seperate and freeze it when we got back from a relatives place. We didn't spend much time at home so the meat never got sorted I had to throw it out. What a waste. My memory has also gotten pretty shocking since having kids

I hate that. I sometimes start picking up sippy cups of milk to put in the fridge for later and end up leaving them on the counter and have to throw them out by time I remember. I started keeping a box of powdered milk in the cupboards for when stuff like that happens.

Or just had too many brain cells killed off by babies. I'm beginning to understand why they portrayed mothers to be ditzy in old tv shows. Between the "Mother's Little Helpers" and dead brain cells... sheesh, I'm surprised moms could do up the clasp on their pearls!

LOL I just did this today! Discovered 6 cooked sausages in the oven from a dinner I made THREE days ago! totally forgot about them.

I put DVD's in the fridge........couldn't find them ANYWHERE for days. They were from Blockbuster and I had to take them back. I opened the fridge to get something and there they were under some leftovers from Max and Erma's. DUH!!!!!!!

Milk is nothing XD

I once bought a 3 pack of roasting chickens. Took the entire pack out to open it and defrost one. Got that one into some water in the sink. . . left the other 2 on the counter....for over 16hrs. . . . . .oh yea....that was definitely a *DOH!!* moment XD and I can't even blame anything like being on the phone XD just my own forgetfulness XD
