Hi Bonnie, no, sorry for any confusion, my comment was directed at the OP. I didn't actually read all the posts properly before commenting. :)

I don't know who your comment is towards Renae so I will explain myself in case it was towards me.

Most of the time, I don't think I was being too nice. There were times I turned down showing times because they were at inappropriate times.

There was another time I turned one down because our agent at the time had called and said, "you see that car parked across the street from the house, they were driving by and would like to have a look." I said forget it because my husband was off work that day, the house was a mess and his paperwork that he was working on was all over the livingroom. They could have made an appointment like everyone else. Also didn't let people in when the kids were sick.

Yes that's rude. Dont reorganise your life. They have to expect boxes and packing - your moving! If the kids are eating dinner when they arrive, so what, they can still look. I think you are being too nice.

Oh I hate waiting around for people. It doesn't take 5 minutes to make a simple phone call to say that they not coming. Grrrr! Some people can be so rude!

I hate when people say they will call back that day and they don't. I rang Holden to book my car in for a service and she was like "everyone's on lunch i'll get them to call back after lunch"... so I stayed home for the rest of the day waiting and they never called back. I had to call them the next day. Anyway I got the SAME sheila who apparently couldn't book services yesterday but she booked it when I rang the next day! I know it was her because she had an accent and she was working in the service dept when I took it in!! What is wrong with people!

It's frustrating, some people have no manners.

I had new carpet laid a couple of weeks ago, they gave me a date and a time, so everything in the entire house had to be packed up and I organised to take my daughter out for the day. They didn't show up and didn't call, so I had to unpack heaps that night, then pack it up again for the next day. I was so peeved I rang to complain and the guys obviously got the shits with me, so instead of taking 2 days to lay the carpet they took 4 days and lazed around half the time.

I was so peeved! I wouldn't have minded if they had of called, it's really not that hard to pick up the phone and take a little consideration for other people's schedules.

I hate people who can't communicate. Because clearly your brain is for decoration purposes only and oh forbid that you actually use it from time to time.

I know how you feel. When we had our house on the market, I would have to clean before a showing with two small kids running around. Sometimes I would clean 3-4 hours to find out that the people never showed up. Really pissed me off.

Wow! That would piss me off too. What a bunch of jerks. Next time they call leave the house and see how they like it lo. j/k.
