Okay so I understand that I live near an airbase & all but I just have to say this. If the "sound of freedom" gets any lower to "the deck", they are going to end a bit of mamma's freedom by making naptime end early! Grrrrr!!!

LOL. No, they are not tough, they are childish. Many of them are knowledgeable but many of them just hide behind their snarky, personal attacks.....oh no....wait....not attacks innuendos and insinuations. Most don't have the balls to say anything directly to you. I'd have more respect if they did. I've been in that forum since 2009 but there is a new breed of posters. They tag team you. Not with knowledge.....but with insults but should you reply back, they are up in arms crying about personal attacks. OMG....I've seen 5 year olds more mature.



ETA:: AND the fact that YOU got ripped to shreds speaks volumes. You're one of the nicest people I've met on here. You were one of the first to welcome me some time ago now. So, if one of the nicest people didn't stand a chance....I'm sure this crotchety old broad is in big trouble.

Mother, my mom does that too. And she's on the other end of the country in a different timezone (and country, since she's in the US and I live in Canada)



The child tax credit and HST people are irking my nerves. After five months they have finally had someone from their office down in Surrey call us and say that they can help. I just want my back pay so I can buy some new sneakers dammit! Both the pairs I have up here are nealy 3 years old and they look it!

My parents DRIVE ME INSANE!!! I had an argument with my Dad the other night and he HUNG UP ON ME!! Talk about disrespectful and rude. My parents are so judgmental and even when they say nothing at all their silent judgment is DEAFENING!! They are also super religious, which is so foreign to me because that never happened until my Mom hit menopause and then Billy Graham adorned her coffee tables.



I think i'm more upset because Dad gets his ignorant digs in and then declares he doesn't want to discuss this further. GRRRRRRRR....ready to snap.

I too am on welfare through no fault of my own. It was my husbands fault! He is now my ex. But he gambled all of our money away so after we split up I had NO source of income and had to get on welfare. It's nothing to be ashamed of.



If your "friends and family have such a problem, tell them to go and take a walk!!!!

hi people, today im so fed up with people judging me because I resigned from my job and now im am on welfare.

Its not like i woke up one morning and thought hey I want to live on welfare, ohh yes, i want to have payment plans for every bill that comes into my home and have to save for big events!!! or even a decent pair of shoes.

My job was 24/7 shifts, mon to Sun, all three kids had to go to different family care placements if i was doing afternoon or night shift. Couldnt sleep very well after my shifts as kids were home and really couldnt afford for them to stay at their carers house.

I received two written warnings because I had to leave in a middle of a shift (i phone other staff to be able cover my shift) as my 2nd son was very ill and had to admitted into hospital due to potential life threathening illness. He has one kidney that is barely functioning so a kidney infection or UTI is something to really worry about. My big boy 5yrs has been diagnosed ADHD, ODD and speech disorder - verbal/oral dyspraxia. His behaviour was off the wall, punching on with his teachers, stealing, setting things alight and the filhty one, peeing on purpose in his room. I was so depressed at work due to boss and other staff going on about me, and for me i made the right choice for my kids and me to resign. My kids are not so stressed, i think, My 1st boy has calmed down alot, i feel that i can do more things with him now, i have the time not the money but the time. I dont have to plan amonth a head for shifts and the kids appointments around my shifts. If i feel better for making this choice and my kids are better for it in many ways, why do i get people and friends saying otherwise.......anyways rant over :)

Ok, people, I seriously give! My daughters are sick AGAIN! I took my oldest to the allergist to see if she really is allergic to latex. They put a piece of latex on her back and we'll see what happens. My younger one has ANOTHER sinus infection. I am so sick of this BS! I mean what gives??????

Don't know whether to cry or bang my head against a wall. Had a fight with the hubby. Not really even sure how it ended up that way. Then was trying to put songs on the mp3 player for him after he left for work, because he hasn't had time & I wanted to help his mood. I get a few on there and now the computer won't acknowledge the player.

I took her to the pediatric ER this morning. I am switching doctors tomorrow when I take her BACK in because I know the rash will still be there. They think it may be 5th's disease. ER doc, said if the rash continues take her back tomorrow.



Apparently their scale was wrong Joy. My kid either didn't lose all that weight or gained it back REALLY effing fast. She weighed in at 27.8 today. WTF????



I am so fed up with her doctor and I've been going there for 6 damn years. The ER wouldn't do an allergy test, they want me to take her to an allergist. They said some crap about the results taking too long there.



So I am not a happy mom right now to say the least. She's been sick like this since last Thursday.

How long has she been sick like this? If it is an option, I would switch doctors or at least take her to the hospital. All doctor's have different opinions and some even think us as moms are overreacting and stretching the truth a bit to get our children the attention that WE think they need. So all they do is sit there and try to calm you down with that crap, well as long as they aren't doing this or that, and expect that to be enough. The doctor my baby has now is great. I told her when I went in for his check up that he is normally a good baby but the day before, he started refusing the bottle but would eat baby food, and did not want to lay down at all, in my arms or otherwise. Every time I tried either of these things, he would scream and stay upset for a while. She didn't dismiss my feelings or belittle what I said. She automatically went and cleaned one of his ears and said it is because of an ear infection. In your position, I would probably take pictures of your "christened" bed, and show them to her doctor and ask him if that seems normal, since apparently her weight loss is not bothering him at all. What an idiot.

So my little one is sick, exploding from one end to the other. I am NOT good at cleaning this up. She christened my bed with vomit. Projectile! Me and the pillows and everything else. Oh woe is me. I feel so bad for her. Her doctor sucks, she's lost 6lbs. She now weighs 21lbs and will be 3 in March. They said, "don't worry unless she get's dehydrated." My kid is like the exorcist!!!!!



She's lost SIX pounds duh! And did I mention the bright red rash? Oh it's wonderful.

So I woke up to poo art. Moms of toddlers, you know what I mean. Finally finished cleaning the crib bars after breakfast, walked out of her room quickly to answer the phone and fell HARD when my feet slid out from under me in bird poop!

The word of the morning children is poop. Can you say poop?
