What a fun day!!!

I have an absecess on my wisdom tooth, which has been killing me for the past week but I can't get into the dentist until Thursday to have it fixed, I swear I would rather go through labour again than deal with this. On top of that I woke up this morning with a bladder infection, a sore throat and my period! Poor me! If only I could take a handful of painkillers and sleep the day away, but no I have a grumpy teething 14 month old to look after. SAHM should get sick days too god dam it!

Urgh I feel for you, I had a couple of weeks like that a few months ago.

I had an abcess on my wisdom tooth, it was vile, I left it a couple of days before making my dentist appointment because I just assumed my wisdom teeth was coming through again - I couldn't shut my mouth I was in soooooo much pain. I finally made the apt and go to the dentist she lanced it and told me to go see my doctor for antibiotics today because I was pregnant and she didn't feel comfortable prescribing them to me. My doctors shuts for half a day on Thursdays, guess what day this was yep thursday - I had to then make an apt at the emergency doctors to go and get antibiotics from him - what a palava!

Then just as I finished that course of antibiotics, I start bleeding so have to go back to the emergency doctor because I had pain with it as well, they discovered I had a water infection and I was put on bed rest for a week, until the bleeding had stopped. Not fun when you have a 14 month old who needs looking after and wants to play with his mummy, thank-goodness for brilliant family!

I agree SAHM should defo get sick days. I hope you are feeling better soon :-)

Nikki, poor you. I have had two absesses before. They really do suck big time. Like you, I would much rather go through labour than that pain. I would have 10 more kids rather than that pain.

That's good. You really can't wait almost a week with an abscess. It could get a lot worse. Glad you kind of got it straightened out :)

Thanks, I actually went to the dentist yesterday but he can't do much until the infection goes down, so he gave me antibiotics and I just have to wait for the pain to stop now. Fingers crossed it will be soon!

ooooh that seriously sucks! I'm sorry you're having a bad day.

On a side note... I'm taking bets that you're not not going to make it anywhere near thursday for that tooth! Good Luck to ya
