So....my day started at 4:30 am when my son woke up from a nightmare that his daddy died. He is convinced that he's not coming home from the military.
Then, I get in my car and broke the panel around the handle. That's going to cost $100 because it has computer chips in it for the seat memory.
Then, I get to work. I'm feeling the morning sickness kick in hard. I went down to the cafeteria to get myself some breakfast, something I never do. I now know why...all of the smells hit my nose at the same time and I vomited. But I wasn't by anything....so, I swallowed it and ran to the bathroom to get sick again...joy.
I finally get my food and go upstairs. My boss and I were working on a project together and she said I could eat my breakfast in her office. A coworker from another office stopped in to say hi to her while he was in the office.
As he walked in, I was taking a bite. My boss introduced me as the egg yolk in my sandwich exploded all over me. The entire room froze....so, I said "Nice to meet you".. I didn't know what else to do. They laughed for a good 5 minutes while I attempted to clean the egg off myself.
I don't think I've ever wanted a glass of wine more in my life....and I can't have it because I'm pregnant. Instead, I'm going to bed....because I have to be up at 4:30 tomorrow so that I can spend the day in the Chicago offices.
Is it Friday yet?? Or better yet, is it April????
