Everything??? Ha. Sulfa drugs too, my pets, dust, grass, pollen, fragrances of all sorts, chlorine. I can't escape it and every year I get new ones. I can't touch a tomato plant anymore. Gardening is hazardous.

Dust, mildew, mold, grass (seed and clippings), pollen, ragweed, apples (juice and fruit), milk, glycerin, bees, cats, dogs, nickle, spiders...(the world usually sums it up)

I'm lucky. Some of my allergies have gone away. I can have peanuts, nuts, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, aged cheese, paprika and sage now. I was allergic as a child. I still have to watch with sage. There are a few pollens that if they are in force, then I have a reaction to sage.

Isn't it weird the older we get the more allergies we develop?

Mold, pollen, spider bites, I've been told I'm allergic to bee stings (never been given an epi-pen, never been stung), and I think I'm developing an allergy to cats.

Latex and nickel. I can't wear cheap jewelry without getting a rash and I can't have sex with a condom and enjoy it.

Angela, I know what photo sensitive is, but for some reason the first thing that popped into my head was, "She's allergic to picture taking?" LOL It's early.

I have a few strange one, I'm allergic to bees and any stinging insects which is pretty serious also go into anaphylactic shock and have to carry an epi pen, cherries and red food dyes, not all but most, also can have morphine or codiene or anything else in the family of that drug and also can be put under anistedic so this was especially fun when I had my daughter and has to have an emergency c-section and they werent sure if I was going to go into anaphylactic shock!!!! Then also couldnt have pain meds after lol! I really hope my daughter doesnt get these

I am photo sensitive, meaning I am allergic to the sun, I can only go out in direct sunlight for short periods of time. Penicillin, With Penicillin I went into anaphylactic Shock so very serious.

latex, wool, dust, and retinol and some mystery ones. I break out in hives, swell up like a balloon and feel miserable.

What bothers me about allergies is I can use something for years and then suddenly be allergic like retinol creams. I loved them and now I can't use them after having my face swell up looking like a Chinese pumpkin face. Sometimes I just get hives and swollen and have no idea what caused the issue.

I am allergic to sulpha, cats, and all the usual outdoor seasonal plants etc. I also have many unidentidied food allergies that trigger things like migraines and asthma attacks, but I guess the reactions aren't considered severe enough to justify a full allergy panel.

I was always terrified of bees. Probably because my mum is allergic, so she had a fear, her fear probably passed on.

I normally got stung because I stepped on them. Or because someone else was waving at them frantically and getting them mad.

I grew up in the country too. Just never got stung. By a couple of wasps, yes, but not bees.

Jodi, it sounds like you got stung really close to a nerve. That happened to my dad. He never had problems before then, and since then he's been allergic.

Has anyone ever gotten into nettles and had that burning itch. That's what my rashes feel like sometimes.

And I it's been so long since I've talked to Kat on anywhere but FB, I forgot that the convo wasn't private. Sorry folks abut the TMI earlier.

Depending on the allergen I get hives, or eczema, or asthma, or corneal edema, or migraines, or hay fever, or anaphylactic shock, or an itchy mouth and throat, or "raccoon eyes," or my kidneys quit working right.

Although I am allergic at least to some degree to almost everything mentioned so far, I am NOT allergic to latex. I recently found out, however, that I am allergic to anesthetic, Fortunately they were able to intubate me in time that I could woke up to learn about it.

Note: "raccoon eyes" is when the skin around your eyes gets dark and puffy and stings when you touch it.

It is much better than it was. I had allergy shots for about 8 years so I can now just be careful and not totally paranoid.

Jodi - posted on 02/01/2012

I don't get rashes or hives, but I get REALLY itchy, and I often end up with sinus blockages (thats the reaction to the grass), and this can go on for days. Frequent showers help.

With the bee stings, it was full on swelling all up and down my arm (I was stung on the elbow), pain, it felt really hot, and was bright red. It took about 3 days to subside.

Katherine - posted on 02/01/2012

When I was little I got allergy shots, then when I got older I got sick of them and stopped. I hadn't had any incidents until the sulfa and latex.

Not scary, just totally miserable. At least once a year, I get a head to toe rash. There are some places that are just worse than others to itch at.

I was hospitalized for a week when I was a kid on three seperate occasions trying to get it under control.

First, I am NOT allergic to poison ivy, poison oak or poison sumac, I can pull it out with my bare hands.

Now to my MOSTLY complete list of allergens. Grass, almost all pollens, mold, cat, dog, feathers, camel (still don't know why I was tested for that) dust, black clothing dye, some synthetic fabrics, all but 3 laundry detergent types, all but 1 feminine pad type, chlorine, most fragrences, most beauty supplies including unscented lotion and hair care products, nut oil if topically applied, but I can eat nuts. Raw carrot and potatoe peel on skin, but I can eat them. Hazelnuts. About 10 different meds, latex, and something with all condom types(maybe the stuff that's used so they don't stick) including sheepskin.

I never knew I was allergic to bees until just a couple of years ago, the first time I was stung and I reacted quite badly (swelling for days, pain, etc). But it makes sense - my mum is allergic, and apparently her father was too. I keep meaning to get a referral to get some testing done, but I guess life just gets in the way.....

Katherine - posted on 02/01/2012

Yes it can be very serious, you don't want to go into anyphylactic (sp) shock.

Jodi - posted on 02/01/2012

I don't. But I really should go and get tested because I probably should have one around. You never know how badly you will react next time. The grass allergies are really only whenever the grass is cut, or seeding, I get a bit hayfeverish. I have been tested for those, and I get a mild reaction in testing, nothing to be concerned about, but enough to be a pain in the butt.
