No, there's no need to tip because people get paid enough. The only time you do tip in restaurants is when you go somewhere and get REALLY GOOD service. I have yet to see anyone tip though.

Well, there is bbq sauce, but it tastes totally different to what we know as bbq sauce. Even the marinade kind that you'd use on ribs is different and in my opinion, not very nice. I bought a bottle of Jack Daniel's bbq sauce and made some bbq chicken the other night and that's the closest thing I've had to good bbq. I miss the hickory smoked or mesquite stuff.

Mmmmm... Chili's baby back ribs. Dammit, I'm hungry now.

Oh, you should hear me rant about the donuts here (although, they have moved up in the world and now have Krispy Kreme).... or bagels! Ohhhh.... I miss a good bagel.

You're kidding! You'd have to bring the girls with you!!! They'd be great entertainment for my boys.

There are a few food type things that I miss from the US, that's about it. I have a friend sending me some good bbq sauce at the moment. I'd come up with a short list for you if you had your ticket to come here. We'd pick you guys up from the airport too, of course. (and since you don't tip people here, you'd only have to tip me in those few food things - :-D)

Well, okay, I should clarify. I've always done it with work... "Donna, can you cover the phones for me while I go shopping?" "Sure. When will you be back?" or the classic, "Donna, this is REALLY important. A client has been bitching at me and I don't want to talk to him anymore. Can you please take any calls from him for me?" "Yes, I can. What were you supposed to have done for him?"



But I also tend to do it at home too. Well, I just do everything because if I didn't it wouldn't get done.



And Katherine, if you visited I would babysit for you. Once or twice.... maybe. ;-) If you brought me something good from the states with you. BTW, isn't having free accommodation enough???

Oh.... well, I wouldn't call myself a super bitch or anything. Far from it actually... but we can all dream about just slapping the snot out of someone every now and then. :-) Or sometimes on an hourly basis.

I'm the one people tend to come to for things because they know I'll say "yes". That's my biggest problem, not knowing how to say "friggin' do it yourself, you lazy bastard!!"

I don't slap as many people as I'd like to... nor do I run over all those other idiots on the road.

It takes A LOT of will power to keep from doing these things, and that makes me a damn good person! Almost a saint!!!!
