What parenting "advice" and comments from others bother you the most? Have you ever ended a relationship because of it?

Pamela, this is just a fun discussion. It's not important, just a chat and maybe a bit of a vent. After all, this community is called Moms who need to vent......

Why is this important to you?. Surely you have better things to do with your life than be concerned about what other people are bothered by. .....or at least I hope you do!

I get the people who think books and paediatricians are a crock and their good old ways are the only way. I haven't ended a relationship because of it but I really hate trying to not have a huge go at them when they make ignorant comments.

Unsolicited advice from people with kids who are terrors or from self righteous know-it-all's. And just in case you haven't seen me post anywhere else "advice/comments" from narrow minded, ignorant, one-sided, bullys. Yup, that about covers it! lol

My mom was always great when it came to my daughter. Which is really surprising. Since the day Rhiannon was born, she has always been the "this is what I did with you guys, it's something you can try if you need to" advise giver.

That was one of the comments that bothered me the most too. I "read too much" (about child nutrition and general physical health) was said by my ex's mom. I never so much as asked her what she thought of the weather after that.
