Oh yea, once when J was little, I sat my purse on the floor and he filled it with a ton of those little Hot Wheels cars. I thought it felt heavy when I picked it up, but I was in a hurry and didn't think about it. When I got to my meeting, I had to fish through about 30 cars for an ink pen....

I had a dirty kid sock in mine one day. It just happened to be a day that I was going into the court house to meet a friend for lunch. To enter, you have to hand your purse over to the guard and they have to look through it, or dump it out if it is big.

He looked in and I saw his lip curl--he didn't want to reach in to move the sock so he could see! So he dumped it into the tray and everyone saw my dirty sock :P



(The sock was so dirty because my son was wearing galoshes and jumped into a deep mud puddle on the way to the sitter's house. I took the socks off as soon as we got inside and tossed them into my purse. As soon as I got in the car, I tossed them into the floor, but I guess I only grabbed one.)

When hubs was in Iraq we used to send him huge packages every month....well one month he called and asked why I sent him one of those kids spoons and forks that is wiggly shapped.....oops. I guess our son thought he needed some eating utensils.
