Both of mine had a thing for wax crayons. The multi-coloured nappy offerings were....interesting. Should've sold them as art, I'd be minted :)

My niece was about 2 or 3 years old, her sister ran up to their mother (my sister) and yelled, "Toni swallowed 2 pennies!" So of course my sister rushed her to the hospital where they did an x ray and said it was only one. They had to have surgery to remove it. A little while later the doctor came up to my sister and asked her, "So Mrs. Berryhill, how much do you think your daughter is worth?" My sister asked how much. The doctor told her 2 cents! Apparently when Toni swallowed the pennies, the aligned perfectly in her throat so that when they looked at the x rays, it looked like there was only 1 penny! My niece still gets teased about that to this day!

Not sure what the girls have swallowed though fishing cigarette butts out of their mouths was 'fun'....
My son ate chicken poop at a yearish and swallowed a penny last summer.
