I'm not secure enough with my self image to walk around in public topless. I am also not secure enough with my self image for you to walk around in public topless. (☺Y☺) However, I do have a sense of humor and will likely point and giggle at your toplessness. Although, if you're topless or naked on a private nude beach, then I've no self image issues with that. If it is sunny out, I would recommend extra sunscreen though.

I'm not sure where in the US this a trend. i have yet to see it. If I were on a nude or topless beach I might do it. Just walking down the street definitely not. Of course like Heather I'm sure its possible that my boob has been flashed in public before during breastfeeding but that's not intentional.

If everyone else is going topless, it's warm out, and I have sunscreen....sure. Why not? I don't see why men can go around topless in most places and women can't. I don't think I'd have the fortitude to do it if I was the only one though.

My mom was topless in Crete once, I was very embarrassed because I was 12. I wouldn't in America, but in Europe I probably would because they don't care what you look like. And if everyone else was doing it, my husband wouldn't care.

My husband would have issues with me going topless. When it comes to porn or tv he thinks it's funny but in real life he's a prude about people being topless. I went swimming in my SILs pool topless and no one was around and he was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

i think it should be up to the person and not the bf if you went topless. I have know a few friends whos partners didnt like them going topless, but didnt mind seeing other women topless. Hy[pocritical and shows a weak vein 'I can oggle other women but other men cant oggle my wife' comes to mind

OMG! I must be the biggest prude! lol I'm sitting here reading everyone's comments, thinking someone will surely say no, right? Just Katherine and she said no when she started the thread. I can't even run from the bathroom to my bedroom without my towel on, even when nobody is home. I feel way too vulnerable and would never want anyone to see how gross my body has become, I'm 41 and have 2 kids and stopped taking very good care of myself a couple years ago. But I have to say, my "shirt" is off to you ladies with the self esteem and confidence to strut your stuff!

Just one question out of curiousity, what do your husbands, boyfriends think about it and are you "allowed" to do it if they aren't around? I can't think of one of my boyfriends or either of my 2 ex-husbands that would have tolerated me going topless, except maybe my boyfriend in high school. haha Wow! You gals are pretty wicked. If I didn't wear a bra I think I'd fall over on my face! Size M boobs, no joke. I frequently get mistaken for a mountain range of some description. Also, it feels kinda weird having those puppies swinging along down by my navel!

If I were blessed with smaller boobies, I'd for sure go topless in places where it was legal/usual etc.

i remember one time tickiling my youngest when he walked past me after coming out the shower, his towel dropped and he ran off red faced, i slapped his bum as he ran off. two days later, i had a phone call just after getting out the bath and took the call downstairs, the phne upstairs hadnt charged. was there with towle covering my boobs. My son walked thru the kitchen and i asked him to put the kettle on as i finished the telephone converstation. i as i turned to put thephone down, he slapped my bum. i gave him a stern look then he said, you did it to me!! i then laughed remembering two days before. then i giggled, then he gave me another one, eded up him chasing me thru the lounge and dining room, found never to run with no boob support lol

I live by a few nude beaches.... But I don't know If I could do that in public... I don't want to walk around my house naked. Spankies and a tank yes, braless yes. EVERYDAY braless unless I go in public or have company over. My son would love to be naked all day everyday lol. I just don't want to walk around naked/topless around my kids haha. Although I still shower with them to save time haha.

If other people would, I would. I do not mind at all and I hate wearing a top. When we have been to Spain in the past I will whip my top off. With everyone around topless no one really seems to notice.

I love going topless on the beach, its such a sense of freedom and lovely to feel the sun on your body. Its also amazing to swin topless. Mind you my boobs are like fried eggs. Its funny though cos love nor money would get me in a thong on the beach.

I don't think it's legal here on the Bible Belt--for whatever reason women's tops are something to be hidden, and men's tops are something to be shown off, no matter how hairy, flabby, or pimply they are.

I didn't go topless to "make a statement" in France, i did it b/c everyone else was nude....and then I discovered it was much more comfy than my tight little bikini top....but I'd still never loose the bottoms.
