Hi - I'm a preschool teacher and I've written some stories about kids with different family structures, in this case lesbian and transgender. You can find them at

You can use them or the ideas in them for free- I just want to make the world a slightly better place and cut prejudice down in the early years if I can! :D

Just got on here to post my info, and one of the things I really tried to do for my Valentine's curriculum was to keep it gender neutral. It's difficult! Valentines is often represented as a man and woman falling love, when that's actually often not what they see in real life. Divorce, death, separation, non-traditional family situations are all far more common for these little ones to be involved in, and we definitely don't want them to feel as if they are in a "wrong" situation and that their lives are in any way not normal and fine.
