Lacota was born 9-10-09. He says words like mama, dada, go, night, light, byebye, hi, uhhuh, unuh, huh, up, done, juice, yea, sticker, nose, that, duh, did, it, I, Bubba (his nickname), no, okay, good, and learns a few (3-4) new words a day lately. He normally says one word sentences and points. But he also says 2 word sentences but they always start with mama or dada. He only says one 3 word sentence "I did it". He walks & runs everywhere. He don't say bite or food, but when hungry he says mama and points into his mouth. He uses utensils to eat pretty good, about every other bite makes it to his mouth. He can't say more, but when his plate is empty his points to it then the food, or shakes his cup and points to the fridge. He can follow simple instructions like get this or that, undress, put your shoes/hat, clean up, etc. He can undress himself, & he puts his own shoes on. He cleans up his toys. He brushes his own teeth. He knows and can show you where his belly, head, hands, feet, nose, mouth, & eyes are. He can point to correct pictures of animals when asked which is a cat, dog, bird, and fish. He can woof like a dog when asked what sound a dog makes. He knows the rooms of the house if asked to go to kitchen, his room, bathroom, or my room. I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but that's about my boy. What are your one year olds doing??
