I have a 5 yr old biracial Son..I have been growing his hair out for some time now in hopes that eventually i could get braids done...unfortunately I was told he was too tenderheaded to handle braids...i don't want to cut his hair but obviously i can't have it braided...any ideas on what i might be able to do?

Will he let you put one braid in the back? I'm mixed native and a lot of my cousins would wear one braid. Just make it look masculine.
