I hated swimming at the beach when I was little. I would play in the sand at the edge of the water, but I hated the water. I was afraid of all the animals I could not see. I knew they could see me. lol

maybe she doesnt like the sand sticking to her, sand castles and collecting shells let her control how dirty she gets. I never liked swimming at the beach and still feel the same, gimme a pool anyday!!! LOL.
