None of us probably want our husbands to go...but we all want the others to go. Sorry for wishing your husband leaves instead of mine. He is at risk for missing our older son's 4th birthday party, and I really selfishly want him to stay.
I pray they all stay safe, at home or away...

Well, we lucked out. My husband did some serious negotiating and maneuvering and made it to the party. My son's birthday is the 21st. Thanks for the support.

When's your son's birthday? Is your husband going to make it back in time? I know how it goes, our daughter's birthday is November 22nd. We planned for her to be born in November thinking that fire season would always be over by then. Not this year! Good luck. Hope all works out....

Here's hoping that your husband doesn't have to go! It's funny how our husbands really want to get fires but most of us wives are praying that they just sit around the station (at least that's how I feel)!
