Neither of these helped for me, but then I ended up having a c-section anyway:

Drive on a bumpy road, if that fails;

Eat VERY strong chillie curry, if that fails;

have steamy hot sex, and if that fails...

good luck!

I absolutely remember that. I was 1-2cm for 6 weeks. I also started dropping 8 weeks prior to my sons birth. I went out on leave 2 1/2 months early because he was putting pressure on my sciatic nerve and I could not walk, stand or sit. I was on bed rest for 2 weeks. I walked after that as much as I could and it did nothing. My husband and I went to a mexican restaurant the day before I went into labor and I was eating very spicy food then went home and ate a whole container of pineapple. Less than 24 hours later my son was born. I don't know if it was the spices or the pineapple. A lot of people were telling me to try pineapple cause it worked for them.

I certainly remember those times. While others told me, and I struggled to believe them, it's true - they are SO much easier to take care of when they are inside. Once outside the real work begins, so let him stay there as long as he needs and get what rest you can. Good luck.

Gosh I remember those days just keep in mind you will go into labor when your baby's lungs are ready for the outside world.

I was the same way when I was that far along but my body wasn't doing anything. I was 1 cm for over a month. Talk about frustrating! Your body knows what is best even if you think it doesn't. I was working up until a week before my due date and once I was home and resting things started progressing. I also did ALOT of walking.
