My eldest son starts secondary school in September. I am really worried and nervous for him.

I hated secondary school, not just because I was bullied in the first year.

How do you get over the feelings of being worried, will he arrive at school safely everyday, will he remember all his books, plus P.E.Kits.etc etc.

I know he says he's looking forward to going, but hes very small for his age, and very quite and very sensitive for a boy ( I still think he schould of been a girl).

Anyone who has been through this and had the same feeling and come out the other side, your advise would be much appreciated.

my yioungest was small for his age, a late developer in all ways. i was so nervous for him but he made friends and turned out alright. I was nervous for him as his two elder brothers at that age were lookng more their age, my eldest looking about 2 years older than he was
so i can understand
good he is a sensitive boy. hope he keeps that side to him
