My son is only 3 months and I notice most of the time when I give him a bath, he has this thin white film on his penis head. Sometimes I notice it when I change is diaper. He rarely has a diaper rash so I know it is not diaper cream, since I am not using it. What is this? What do I do to deal with it? And should I be concerned?

I was thinking the same thing. After his circumcision, he had to have his foreskin pulled down again, it had reattached on one side. I still have to push it down sometimes. I will make a better effort to keep it clean. THANKS!

We noticed a white film/issue with our oldest son also, and to a lesser degree with our second son. It's nothing to be alarmed about just something to monitor and really clean with every diaper change. Really pull down the skin around the tip and make sure that you are getting everything clean. There were a couple times with our first that if he didn't let us really clean then he would end up with a slight infection that had much more white/possibly puss in the area. I am no doctor but I think it has something to do with how the circumcision was done for my boys. One had the plastic circle and there have been no problems, the other had just a typical cut then a bandage around his penis until it fell off. Good luck and if you're really worried, talk with the doctor about your concerns.
