Have you been dealing with a child that suffers from any type of Kidney Disoder? Well you are not alone though at times it may seem lonely. It is hard to understand why things happen to us ,Well I been dealing for 12 years now and my beggest support 1st God he gives these special children to those parents that can handle it. 2nd My mom and step Dad they are the only people besides my other children that understands my son like I do.My biggest inspiration was him if he can go through suffering like he did in and out of hospitals and still be a happy baby, then I new that God taught me a lesson not to Love only him but me because without my support and my families there will not be that happy lil boy to inspire me to go back 2 school and learn about his Medical Illness not only 4 him but to help others.

WOW!! Similiar backgrounds. I went back to school to try to find what the drs could not. I read and read and then we found out that he was born with bilateral kidney dysplasia and has been waiting for a kidney transplant since 8/2005. We have a donro, by the grace of God, and now we have been waiting. I graduate in may with my masters in nutrition and i want to help others who are not as fortunate to know how to research on their own. My son, who will be 13 in May, is my hero. The hours of shots and medication he has to take, it wears me out, I cannot image what it does for him, but he is always smiling. Good LUCK !!!

Sounds like you've been through alot.  It's awesome that you are going to school.  I've thought about that myself.  My son has fought a rare kidney disease for 6 1/2 years now.  He still has 30 percent kidney function but will most likely go into ESRD eventually.  Good luck with all of your ventures.
