somehow my not got dissapeared! we do get a dusting of snow, but within a few hours drive, you are at 9000 feet, and ski resorts. But ask someone about Arizona, and they think of cacti, and maybe the Grand Canyon, which has cacti, AND snow!

It is like Arizona. Here in the Phoenix area, considered to be desert, there is no snow, although once in a blue : )

Well Where Charles is is about 9000 feet up in the moutains between Afaganistan and pakistain, so that is why he gets snow as far a Iraq they to have high moutains and that is where they get the snow down in the lower parts such as bagdad they do not. lots of rain I understand in the winter there

I am getting better at geography, but it still suprises me to see snow in places I think...well...I guess I just don't know. I know that even Iraq has places that snow. You don't hear much about it, though
