Hi Heather, my baby boy was diagnosed Double outlet right ventricles, TAPVR and Av canal.
I am very uncertain about all these and the doctors said they are not sure about his survival rate after the birth. I wonder if you can give me some hope or ideas of similar situation you have been through. Thank you!

Hi my son is 6 right now. He was born with Double outlet right ventricle, Pulmonary Stenoses, no Left Ventricle and an interrupted aortic arch. He has had 4 surgeries, first at 6 days old and last at 3 years old. He is doing wonderfully and you would never know he has heart problems. He keeps up with his two brothers and sometimes even out does them. I wish you the best and lots of luck.

My son was born with Double outlet right ventricle, VSD and an interrupted aortic arch. He has had 2 heart surgeries (one was open heart) and 2 balloon dilation procedures all before he was 8 months old.
He is now almost 3, and you would never know he had such a rough start to his life!

My son doesn't have it but I was born with a double outlet right ventricle. I've had 2 open heart surgeries since I was born, one at 10 months and another at 12 years old. My son was diagnosed with VSD at my 20 week ultrasound but by the time he was born at 32 weeks ( because of me, pre eclampsia and my heart problems ) it closed.

I've never ever met anyone who was born with what I was. I hope all is going well. I'm almost 22 years old and all is healthy with me.

My son has pulmonary stenosis...TAPVR....it is his evil!
