I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE living in Deep Creek.  It doesn't feel like we live close to a big city, but any store I want is only 10 minutes away!  It's a nice change from driving 40 minutes for something other than Walmart or Kmart!

I have been stationed in Norfolk for 5 years, and love it.  I will tell you about a wonderful program for Stay at home moms.  It is the Military YMCA.  They do all sorts of activies through out the week.  The website for the Hampton Roads area is lil_mrs_ray06@hotmail.com.  I love the area, just wait for the summer there are always activities going on out in one of the local cities.  I say just enjoy!

We live in the Deep Creek part of Chesapeake. Moved about two months ago, but I love it here! My husband is @ the shipyards as well.

oh ok . . we live in housing for now . . cheaper then finding a 4 bedroom with big backyard in town.  Do you attend any playgroups around here?   I'm part of the Virginia Beach Playgroup and part of the Penninsula Mommies

Wow!  So many of you form the area!  How nice!  Yes it is my first time ever living out of California.  Very differnet here!  I was actually posting to see if anyone wanted to get together for playdates.  For those that are stationed with Little Creek, do you live in housing?

Oh we moved from San Diego to Norfolk 8 years ago. We are back in California this past year but in Monterey, Ca but we will the in VA soon. Any questions let me know.
