I was really struggling after my miscarriage, emotionally but also physically. I had a lot of questions that went unanswered so I thought I would share my story in hopes that it would help others.

I miscarried completely on my own. The ultrasound proved it. However, it has been 2 months and I have not stopped bleeding. There are days where it is more spotting than bleeding, days where I think its finally over, days that I bleed through my super tampons and onto my pants, and mornings I wake up with bloody sheets. Sorry if thats too much... But I feel like when you are going through this, you just want as much information as possible.

A week after my miscarriage, I started taking my birth control again to help regulate my hormones and get back on track....

I went to my doctor within the first 4 weeks multiple times and was told this was all relatively normal as there is no true norm. My Hcg levels were still very high although I was only 6.5 weeks when I miscarried. By 7 weeks post-miscarrage, my doctor had given me another ultrasound to make sure everything was in fact expelled and I was healing. He said this was the case. My HcG levels were still 53. By 8 weeks, I was in a lot of pain and had an ovarian cyst rupture... And my Hcg levels were 30... They were definitely descending but very slowly!

Its now been 9 weeks post-miscarriage and I am still bleeding. In fact, I woke up the other morning to a spot in the sheets despite a tampon. Headed backed to the doctor in a few days to see if there is anything they can do to stop the bleeding...

If you are still bleeding and its been a while, go to the doctor. But also know that some people just respond that way. My previous miscarriage was done within a week... This one.... not so much.

Hi I had a miscarriage 3 months ago tomorrow at 8 weeks, i bled for about a week and then didn't bleed for about 5 weeks after that. But when i started bleeding it was heavy and clotty, some days I don't bleed at all or somedays it's just spotting. It seems to be really heavy when i go for long walks or do some excercise...it has been about 7 weeks since it's been going on so i'm hoping if anybody has any advice for me?

Just wondering how long the bleeding lasted? I miscarried at 8 weeks on sept 4 and I'm still bleeding 8 weeks now. Not sure what to do .....one day it can be light and it seems like it's going to stop and the next I'm bleeding heavily with clots still coming out.....

What did they do to help you? I'm 8 weeks post miscarriage, ultrasound shows all clear and blood hcg is 6... Yet here I am, still bleeding. Hoping you had a more positive end to your ordeal :)

I have been bleeding for a few months now after my natural miscarriage. Its really frustrating. I finally put myself on birth control hoping that works. I'm almost a month in and still have been bleeding everyday. I have no insurance so the doc told me to take a test and if it came back negative then it was just irregular periods. Not sure how accurate that is. I wish I knew for certain.

It's been 9 weeks.since I've had a miscarriaged and have been bleeding ever since. I stopped only for like 4 days and Ive started again. I'm so frustrated! I did it naturally and had an ultra sound the day after and said I pretty much passed it all. I've tried calling to make an appointment, but my dr is apparently on leave and I keep getting referred to their nurses. They seem to think I'm fine and tell me to let it run its course. I should be concerned if I bleed through a tampon within a hour. I just want to know why, I don't think this is normal.

I had an ectopic pregnancy (early stage around 4 weeks, my HCG was also low mid 400) Misscaried 8 weeks ago. Had MX shot. 6 days ago my doctor called me and told me that my HCG is down to 0 and I dont have to go for blood work anymore.
But I am still bleeding and spotting. Is this normal? Why would I continue bleeding if my HCG is down to zero? Anyone has this?

Yes I'm going through the same thing. I had a miscarriage in Jan and I'm still bleeding. Iisscarried on my own and when I did go to the doctors last month they stated my levels were fine and there was no infection. But its just really stressful to be going through this especially since I just got married and haven't been able to sleep with my husband to concemate our vows

I am 10 weeks post-miscarriage and am also still bleeding....although I had a DNC. Hcg went down during week 8. They found a cyst on my ovary yesterday...but say is it not what is causing the bleeding. They want to put me on b.c for 2 months as I have been losing so much blood :(

Also interested in what, if anything, was done for you. Im post miscarriage 9weeks and still hcg is at 8...two weeks prior it was 9 so to say its coming down slowly is an understatement! im so frustrated with this!
