In April I experienced a natural miscarriage.

It took me and my partner 5-6 months to get pregnant, got pregnant, told everyone, and had a miscarriage at 12 wks :(

My Doctor told me to wait 3 months and to use condoms until 3 months is over to try to get pregnant again. I dont want to wait that long.

Me and my partner have already beeen having unprotected sex and are anxious to get pregnant again.

Im wondering if I will be at risk for having another miscarriage if I get pregnant right away?

Is it safe and okay to get pregnant right after having a miscarriage? Ive still been taking my P.vitamins and trying to stay healthy.

Have any other women had a miscarriage and got pregnant right after and gone full term with the 2nd pregnancy? How soon can I get pregnant?

Thanks for all the feed back and help. I appreciate it :)

Sorry for your losses. I myself miscarriaged almost a year ago, and were trying again ever since then with no luck. I was ready to give up, when just last week we found out we were pregnant again. I will be honest and say I am scared to death about miscarrying again, but are trying to stay positive. This time around, everything is so different. Symptoms are horrible. I have nausea almost all day long, but I dont even mind it, as long as I carry full term is all that matters. Best of luck! xoxo

It depends upon what your doctor says and how far along you were on you tragic miscarriage.

I have been through 6 miscarriages in 14 months and they were all between 4-7 weeks. So my doctor told me we could try again the month after.

It is entirely possible to become pregnant the month after a miscarriage, it has happened twice to me.

How long was it before you had your first period after the miscarriage?

I also will take the great advise, however, this time around think I will wait to tell everyone just to be on the safe side. Do admit am a bit scared of miscarrying again, but do have faith everything will go well.

I was advised to wait a few months as well. I was pregnant again in 6 weeks! I had a great pregnancy, she will be 4 months old next Thursday! Good luck... go with your gut. What's supposed to happen will happen! If it doesn't work right away don't get discouraged~ stress doesn't help!!

I was told to wait at least one period so your body can get back to "normal." It took us about 4 months of trying before we did get pregnant. We are now 5 months and like Schyla Crown its been a terrible pregnancy. But i'm still very grateful. Good Luck

i had a miscarriage and without trying was pregnant a month later (and we'd used protection.) I'm not sure if it's related but he was the longest most difficult pregnancy anything that could go wrong did go wrong we were lucky to have him. He's now 5 months and 21lb and the joy of our lifes but really if your doctor advised you to wait three months you should let your body heal. one your baby is in your arms the wait won't have mattered.
