My name is Katherine and I was diagnosed with MS shortly before my 18th birthday. I started showing active signs that something was wrong when I was 15 years old. It has been over 11 years since my diagnosis and I am glad to still be working full-time and able to actively participate as a mother most of the time.
I have been married to a wonderful, Jacob, for a year and a half. He went with me to the Neurologist for the 1st time this week. I have been in remission for about 4 1/2 years except for the occassion psuedo-relapse brought on by heat, stress or infection.
Glad to join the group. If I can be of help to any other MS mommies, let me know.

Welcome to the group. I'm glad to hear that you are still balancing a full and active life. Kudos for Jacob! It's nice to see our love ones support us. Are you taking any of the MS drugs (just curious)?
