Hello ladies!

I'm Lovinia proud mommy of a beautiful, smart, atheltic, talented and gifted 13 year old, did I mention PROUD? LOL I've been with the love of my life to almost 18 years and married for 10 years next month. I always wanted to be mommy of three kids but God had other plans for me it only took me three surgries, two miscarriages and almost $3,000 to figure that out, I don't catch on very fast. :o) But I'm glad to have an only child, my daughter is not spoiled at all people don't believe that but she's not if she sees you in need at all and she needs to go without she will just to make sure that person is taken care especially if it has anything to do with babies or little kids. She has a huge heart.

I love being the mom of an only child! I even got her a shirt that says "Yes I'm an only child my parents achieved perfection the first time around." :-)

I enjoy being the mom of an only child! I get to spend time focusing just on him. 13 months before having my son Holden, who is now 9, I had another boy, Connor, who was stillborn. My husband and I have spent the past 8 years trying to have another (Holden begs for a sibling) but we've had no luck in getting pregnant again. At this point, I'm not sure I have the patience for a baby anymore yet at the same time I still want another child. And when I watch Holden with his younger cousins I know he would make an incredible big brother. For now, I am just going to be happy with and completely enjoy my Holden!!

Hi Lovinia

I can almost relate to you in most things: I'm new to the group; I'm a mother of 1, my son is now 5; and recently had a miscarriage which has almost put me off having any more children......!! I'm also glad that you realise that God has perfect plans for us/your family.....which are always different to our own :-)

PS: You should be very PROUD of your daughter!! She sounds amazing!! I'd love to buy that shirt for my son too......lol!!

Keep doing what you're doing.
